A Swiss Trust Company (STC) with a corresponding overseas Bank enables its owner to raise capital from investors discreetly, create correspondent banking relationships worldwide and to control the movement of funds much faster to capitalize on opportunities.
The Real Estate group was able to achieve its goals through ownership of a Swiss Trust Company established in 1936. They were able to bring their funding needs in-house through the combination of a Captive Trust Company and Captive Bank. The privacy of investors & shareholders was ultimately increased because their ownership of the STC was issued in bearer share certificates. Finally, ownership of a 1936 Trust Company enabled this group to enhance its competitive position largely due to the credibility & goodwill associated with such a long-standing institution.
